Amanda Eniko Long's Obituary

Amanda Eniko Long, 50, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Friday, February 27, 2026. Born February 18, 1976, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, she was the daughter of Kenneth Harold Werner and Irene Eniko Zongor Werner. Amanda lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family, her spirit touching all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Before her role as a devoted wife and mother, Amanda was known for her striking beauty and grace, having made her mark in the world of fashion modeling. This early profession soon transitioned as she fully embraced the fulfilling roles of wife and mother, where she found true joy and purpose.

Amanda devoted her life to her three beloved daughters, Mackenzie, Madison, and Makenna. She was not just a mother; she was an unwavering supporter, known affectionately as the biggest soccer mom and volleyball mom. Her commitment to her children extended beyond mere support; she was fully engaged in their lives and activities, embodying what it means to be a nurturing and involved parent.

Her personality shone brightly; she was family-centered, loyal, determined, and fiercely protective of those she loved. In the face of life's challenges, particularly her courageous battle with cancer, Amanda never complained. Instead, she approached each day with unparalleled grace, basking in the love surrounding her. As a woman of strong Christian faith, she also found strength and comfort in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A true sports enthusiast, Amanda had a particular fondness for the Chicago Bears. She was also an exceptional cook, eagerly looking forward to preparing meals that brought her family and friends together around the dining table, sharing laughter and memories.

Amanda is survived by her loving husband of over 26 years, James Long, and her daughters Mackenzie Eniko Long, Madison Jaymes Long, and Makenna Alexandra Long. She is also survived by her mother, Irene Werner; her father, Kenneth Werner; her brothers, Michael (Erika) Werner, Mathew Werner, and Mark (Makyla) Werner; her brother-in-law Nathan Long; sister-in-law Anita Long; as well as her cherished nephews, Mason and Andrew, and nieces, Riley, Ava, Kiera, and Nadean. Her beloved furbabies, Wrigley and Harley, also hold a special place in the hearts of her family.

A celebration of Amanda's life will be held on Thursday, May 14, starting at 2pm at Bagsby Ranch 1628 Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin.

As we remember Amanda, we celebrate a life characterized by love, resilience, and dedication. Her legacy will forever resonate in the lives she touched and the family she held so dear. May her memory be eternal.
