Amanda McCandless, age 48 of Gallatin, TN, passed away in her home on Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was born September 29, 1972 in Gallatin, TN to the late Irene (Smith) Herndon.

Along with her father, Jay Herndon she is survived by daughter, Krista McCandless; Sister, Roxann (Joseph) Howell; Brother, Jason (Nicole) Herndon; and Granddaughter, Amaya Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center in the Chapel at 1:00pm until time of service. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be at 3:00pm at Crestview Memory Gardens.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and especially Krista. Amanda was a very caring and loving individual who provided me with portraits of my daughter Melisha when she was younger.
