I just don’t know what to say. We are so terribly beaten up by this. Too many tears that he wouldn’t want. All I can say is he is the best, kindest, fairest person I ever knew. But we all knew that anyway. Somewhere In heaven he is in his splendor and dressed immaculately.

I was lucky enough to have known Billy and Kay since childhood, as they were close and worked with my mother, Mrs. Becky Brown. Kay, no better care could have been more lovingly given. And as for Billy, there are simply too many good things to say about him to begin. I pray every day is college football day for you now.

Billy was a best friend of mine-a second father. I love him dearly. Time and again I went to him-for a good laugh, for advice, and at times shelter from the storm that is life. He always answered my call…
He was a gentleman by definition; a light hearted comedian by nature, and a great man by instinct. Everyone I know loved him.
Goodnight, brother. Rest easy. And again, I love you. May the four winds blow you safely home.

There is not many opportunities in life to meet a true and loyal friend. Billy fit into that category. True friend, loving father, grandfather and husband. He had an ability to keep life simple and uncomplicated. He always had the same calm demeanor whenever we talked and was always already to laugh. One thing for sure he got the great care he deserved his final days with his wife Kay in charge
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND! .

Kay,
Words can't express our sadness, Billy was such a good friend to Joe and so kind to everyone he met. We had such fun times in the Mustang Club and will treasure those memories. Billy did a favor for all male Mustang enthusiasts when he taught you how to properly take your seat in his Mustang without scraping your feet on the door sill! I can remember his big smile when you showed all of the Mustang gals how to follow Billy's instruction. We sure loved him. Sending hugs and prayers for peace.
Love you,
