Bonnie Scott Fitzpatrick, 93, of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. Born March 18, 1932, in Brentwood, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Scott and Maggie Page Scott.
Bonnie loved to travel. Her favorite way to see the world was by cruise ship. She was a devoted Christian and a long-time member of the First Methodist Church in Gallatin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack “JB” Fitzpatrick; her Uncle Curtis and Aunt Polly Taylor, with whom she lived with while attending high school in Gallatin; and her sister, Ann Smith.
She is survived by her son, Jay Fitzpatrick (Carol); daughter Beth Hendricks (Cyndy); grandchildren Maggie Hendricks Askren (TJ), Amy Gould, Andrew “AJ” Fitzpatrick (Milissa), and Kelli Fitzpatrick Roettgers (Jerry); great grandchildren Riley Askren, Liam Askren, Demi Gould, Zoey Gould, Cullen Fitzpatrick, Erin Fitzpatrick, Payton Fitzpatrick, Everett Roettgers, Grayson Roettgers, and Raegan Roettgers; brother William C. Scott; brother-in-law Ray Smith; and sister-in-law Ida R. Wallace.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, from 10am til 12pm at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Gallatin. A funeral service will take place at 12pm. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Gallatin. Pallbearers will be A.J. Fitzpatrick, Jerry Roettgers, T.J. Askren, Paul Richey, Will Wallace, and Wayne Heimer.
