He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Willie Dee Davis Martin; sister, Mary Ann Mayo and grandson, Cody Inabinet. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Martin; children, Lisa Ferguson (Lee), Kimberly Deason and Charles Martin II (Shannon); grandchildren, D. J. Linville II, Samantha Johnson, Charles Martin III, John Martin, Gavin Martin and Joseph Martin; great grandchildren, Madison Williams, Harley Johnson and Sylas Johnson; sisters, Elaine Doss, Barbara Jones and Linda Newman.
