We never really caught anything but we did have fun just being there together. Prayers go out to Dianne and family. May good memories of Ed carry on. With love, #4 sister Cindy and husband Tim.

In 1990 2 ex-city boys, one from the east side and one from the northside were united by God in a friendship that over the years became more brotherly than neighborly. Though miles have separated us the last few years the love has remained. Now at your passing Ed it is the memories I will cherish, what we learned from each other and what we experienced together all precious to me, truly gifts from God. Be at rest from your labors my brother knowing your legacy lives on. Till we are reunited again, God’s peace.

Ed will be greatly missed in our lives and hearts. I have never met a neighbor and friend who would help whenever someone needed it, welcome you kindly into his home and share a smile or joke with his neighbors whenever we walked by his home. Ed and Diane showed love, joy and kindness to all they met, and I am grateful to have known them as a couple.

Such terrible news for family and friends. Your family has seen and experienced so much sadness. I clearly remember him and the backyard get togethers in the Smith's backyard. Just as all of you, I enjoyed his personality and friendship. I truly wish I had the power to wave a magic wand and heal your family to make the pain go away. All of you deserve and need a break. So sad to learn this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. This has been a horrible year. May God favor you in these stressful times.

The Conleys and Sawls on Senior Dr, what a crew we were. From backyard BBQs and Steeler games to our infamous New Years parties we did it all together. We met as neighbors exactly 3o yrs ago this July. We saw our girls grow into beautiful ladies and even survived to talk about it. We said goodbye to our parents together. The number of “driveway talks” we had were too many to count. You and Di were there when needed, always. When you moved to Tennessee we understood but it was still hard. This is crushing. Rest easy, dear friend. You leave us with many wonderful memories. You live on in all four of your girls. Neighbors like you do not exist anymore. With much love, Mary Kay

Bonnie and I are Deeply Saddened by the loss of Ed. He was so proud and supportive of his girls. I enjoyed talking about volleyball with him and the other activities that the girls were involved in during their high school careers. He was normally the last one to leave the gym, he loved to fellowship. It hasn’t been the same since the family moved away. We used to see him walking the dogs every morning. And I know that he caught me in my boxers most of those mornings retrieving my newspaper! (With a giant smile on his face)
He and Dianne were (are) the cool parents that their children adored. I have always been so impressed and encouraged by the love this family has between one another.
We know that love is patient. And that patience is what we will have to endure until we see Ed again.

Until then. With lots of Love–Eric and Bonnie Falcione

Abbey, this is for you.

I remember this conversation with you dad like it was yesterday. It was a beautiful, warm day, Mister Ed and I were chatting about life in our driveway. He said to me, “Mary Kay, I have one important job to see that gets done and that’s walking my girls down the aisle”. So do not think for one second that 5 months and 17 days from now that he will skip out on you. He will still get those pre-wedding jitters. He will be beside you down that aisle then be next to your mom when you say I do. He will step on your toes and tell you that you are beautiful. One thing about your dad is he always did what he said he had to do. XXOO Mary Kay
