Geneva (Honeycutt) Earheart

March 14, 1929 — November 10, 2025

Hendersonville

Geneva (Honeycutt) Earheart, age 96, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2025.

Geneva, the ninth of twelve children, was born on March 14, 1929, in Mitchell County, North Carolina, during the first year of the Great Depression.

Geneva was known as a woman of God. She was a pastor’s wife and youth leader at Westview Assembly, in Elkhart, Indiana, where her husband, the late Clyde Street, pastored for many years after previously evangelizing, pastoring, and preaching on a weekly radio broadcast on WKAM. Geneva’s kingdom work was fruitful, and she left a lasting impact on many.

Geneva was a supportive wife, devoted mother, and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Upon arriving in Elkhart, she worked for the Buescher Band Instrument Company, where she had the great privilege of meeting and dancing with Lawrence Welk when he brought his band to purchase musical instruments. She was a lifelong seamstress, making and altering clothing; doing auto, boat, and furniture upholstery; and even sewing hot air balloons, parachutes, caving gear, and machine gun covers for the military.

Geneva was known for her vibrant way of life and leaves behind an incomparable legacy. Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in the fact that she is with Jesus. Her memory will be truly cherished.

Geneva is survived by her daughters, Julie Pleasant and Renée Chavez (Mauricio); grandchildren Jon Pleasant (Lydia), Carrie Russell (William), Mauricio Chavez IV (Katie), and Patrick Chavez; and great-grandchildren Carter Pleasant, Ella Pleasant, Whitley Pleasant, Kyleigh Russell, Navy Chavez, and Mia Chavez.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Clyde Street; father, Grover Honeycutt Sr.; mother, Julia (Edwards) Honeycutt; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; son-in-law Richard Pleasant; her second husband, Harris Earheart; and her third husband, David Anderson.

Following her cremation, Geneva will be buried in Bennett’s Cemetery Upper Pigeon Roost, Green Mountain, North Carolina, in a private family service.

Memorial donations in honor of Geneva may be made to The Lost Lamb Association, which was very dear to her heart. Please visit https://www.lostlamb.org/give or mail contributions to: Lost Lamb Association, PO Box 2007, Bangor ME 04402.

Glory to His Name

Down at the cross where my Savior died,

Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Refrain:

Glory to His Name,

Glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,

Jesus so sweetly abides within,

There at the cross where He took me in;

Glory to His Name!

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,

I am so glad I have entered in;

There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;

Glory to His Name!

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,

Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;

Plunge in today, and be made complete;

Glory to His Name!
