Mrs. Stasek was born August 12, 1931 in Portland, TN to the late Floyd McDougal and Bertha Key.
Mrs. Stasek was preceded in death by Frank Stasek Sr. She is survived by her son, Frank Stasek Jr. (Cathy); and daughters, Carolyn Bryner (Sheldon), Joyce McCormick (Danny) and Tammy Kingsbury (Jeffrey); thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also survived by two half sisters, Alta Ceska and Georgia McCulley; her talking parakeet Pretty Boy and a host of family and friends.
She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. Her passion was working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Visitation for Mrs. Stasek will be 2pm-8pm on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 and 12pm-2pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 2pm in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 with Brother Doyle Farris officiating. Interment will be at Sumner Memorial Gardens immediately following.

Time went by too fast…we said many times that we needed to get together but other things got in the way. Please know that Helen loved all of you as evidenced in your many visits. We are sorry that we are unable to attend the service today,but please know that you are all in our prayers. If there is anything we can do for any of you, please let us know.
