James Henry Craft, Jr., 72, of Bethpage, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Born March 10, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Henry Craft, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Bauman Craft.
A proud graduate of Gallatin High School in the class of 1972, James furthered his education at Austin Peay State University, setting a strong foundation for his professional endeavors. He dedicated over 20 years as the owner and operator of Connect Technologies, Inc., where he made considerable contributions to the field and built meaningful relationships along the way. Jim also worked for many years in the restaurant industry, holding key positions within the IT department, showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence.
Beyond his professional life, Jim was deeply passionate about his hobbies. He was an enthusiastic member of the Amya Remote Control Sailing Association in Naples, Florida, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow sailing enthusiasts. Additionally, he had a great love for collecting old cars and was an avid boat enthusiast since his youth on Old Hickory Lake, activities that brought him immense joy and satisfaction.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Pam Craft, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. He is also remembered fondly by his stepchildren, Melissa Guill, Donald Guill, Matt (Jenny) Stiles, and Tiffany (Don) Bandy, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His legacy continues through his 7 grandchildren and his siblings, Barbara (Randy) Craft Jones and Bill (Beverly) Craft, who cherished his companionship and support.
