James "Jim" Guthrie died in Nashville, TN on October 26, 2020. At 83, he enjoyed an independent lifestyle and made plans to retire one day to Gallatin. Jim was born in Sumner County, TN to Irvin Wesley and Margaret (Durham) Guthrie in 1937. After serving in the U. S. Air Force, Jim chose a career in accounting. Jim's parents and his brother, Robert Wesley "Bob" Guthrie preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughter, Debora and two nieces, Ann and Nancy.

There will be no services. Burial will be in Gallatin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to American Heart Association.
