James William Perry, age 90 of Bethpage, TN, passed away March 4, 2021. Mr. Perry was born October 3, 1930 in Sumner County, TN son of the late Fred and Iviedell Crowder Perry. He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Perry; son, James Michael Perry; daughter, Connie Oxford (William); brothers, Donald Perry, Freddie Perry (Millie) and Jerry Perry (Maxine); sisters, Fay Spears (James) and Jean Brown; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mr. Perry served in the U. S. Army 1951-1953 during the Korean War. He married Elizabeth in 1953 at Irvington Church of Christ in Indianapolis, IN. He worked for over 30 years with Western Electric in Indiana. After he retired, he moved back to Bethpage, Tennessee where he bought the family homestead. There he enjoyed farming and raising cattle.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Rich Shockley officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Bridge Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday, March 6th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 7th from 12:00 noon until time of service.
