James Robert Weaver

James Robert Weaver, age 71, of Mount Juliet, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 4^th, 2023. Jim was born in Knoxville, TN, to parents, William Glen Weaver and Eleanor Roddy Weaver nee Brown. James is preceded in death by his parents William and Eleanor. He is survived by his brother, Bill (Phyllis) Weaver, his sister, Susie (Bob) Wade, and his daughters, Jamie (Ray) Dunn, and Julie Weaver. James is also survived by his four grandchildren, Carson, Nathan, Caleb, and Nila.

Jim Weaver was an affectionate and caring man, and a wonderful father with an infectious laugh. Jim loved to golf when he was able. When he was at home, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, reading, and supporting their extracurricular activities; it pained him to miss out on their ventures. Also, he enjoyed spending time outside. He particularly liked to do landscaping work around his home, tending to his flower beds, and doing some light gardening. One other thing that Jim enjoyed was cooking, sometimes taking herbs from his garden to compliment his meals. Although he is gone, he is not forgotten.

A memorial visitation and service will be held at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Monday, July 10^th, 2023. Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, with the service starting promptly at 3pm.
