My prayers for her family for their comfort. I had known Jan since arriving at Gallatin High at the start of school in 1952.. Mr. Burtum, principal, asked her husband to be, George Cox, to introduce me around the school. I believe that Jsn was one of the older girls were became like big sisters at my library table. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Some of my best memories of Mrs Cox rotate around her family. 4th of July celebrations with George Jr and George , Sonya, and Katie at the lake. Katie’s wedding day. So proud , always a smile, always a kind word. That’s what I think of when thinking of Ms Cox.
