Therefore you too have grief now;
but I will see you again, and your
heart will rejoice, and no one will
take your joy away from you.

Danny M. Hooge October 12, 2019 at 4:03 amThis is to say goodbye till we meet again to my dear friend Jerry Williams. I hope you will be happy in your new place (the spirit world). Probably there will be a lot of beautiful nature and maybe a hound dog or two. I remember so many times we took your dog (Rowdy, I think), the Redbone who injured his front foot and was such a good “coon dog. We would start a little fire to rest and listen to the sound of the chase and then he was so smart, when he found the tree the ‘coon went up he would let us know by changing his running bark to a sitting down bark, with a chopping sound like Ouw Ouw Ouw. We would take our lights and go find him. I guess besides my family, I spent the most time with you visiting or hunting. I was glad to visit with you a few years ago sitting on your porch at the house where you lived near Rockbridge. I wish I could have lived closer and we could have got together more often. I am glad to have you for my friend. You are always true and faithful. You are a gentle spirit. I hope your family is able to bear the loss and will remember that death is not the end, it is just graduation to our next phase. Bod bless you Jerry, and I am grateful that we were true friends in this life. I love you my friend, and I miss you. There were a lot of happy times and a some rough times. Let’s keep the happy memories. Say hi to any of my relatives that you see, and to your family, for me. Thank you. May God bless you and your family always. Sincerely, Danny M. Hooge, Pleasant Grove, Utah
