Jesse Andrew "Andy" Scruggs, age 65 of Gallatin, passed away November 3, 2018. Mr. Scruggs was born March 27, 1953 in Madison, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Thomas Scruggs, Jr. and Margaret Valentine Scruggs; brothers, Lloyd Scruggs, David Scruggs and Michael Scruggs; sisters, Linda Scruggs and Margaret Berned; dogs, Boo and Taz. He is survived by his spouse, Danny Ray Chappell-Scruggs of Gallatin; brothers, Charles Scruggs (Karen) of Hartsville, TN and Kevin Scott Scruggs of Clifton, TN; sisters, Cindy Gentry (Jimmy) of LaVergne, TN and Cheryl Shrum of Gallatin, TN; beloved dogs, Diesel and Charlie.
Mr. Scruggs worked at Insteel Steel in Gallatin and retired from American Taxi.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 7th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
