Johnny G. Anderson, departed this life on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born November 29, 1958, in Lebanon, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Douglas Glenn Anderson and Patsy Ann Lyles Anderson.
Johnny worked as a dispatcher for the Sumner County Sheriff's Office, where he played a vital role in ensuring safety and order in the community. He was a proud graduate of Gallatin High School, having graduated in the class of 1976.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Johnny had a passion for attending auctions and collecting antiques. This hobby showcased his appreciation for history and the stories that each item held, reflecting his personality as someone who cherished memories and artifacts of the past. He was a faithful Christian who served as clerk and secretary at The Gallatin Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gary Ladd and sister-in-law Sherry Ladd.
Johnny was a devoted family man. He is survived by his sons, Nathan (Peggy) Anderson and Wesley (Cayla) Anderson, along with his dear grandchildren: Branden Anderson, Titus Anderson, Tessann Anderson, Cheyenne Lankford, Anna Lankford, and Sarah Lankford. He also celebrated the joy of being a great-grandfather to Dominic and Percy. Each of these relationships brought him immense pride and joy. Last, but certainly not least, he is survived by his faithful four legged companion Barrett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center from 4pm til 7pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12, from 11am til the 1pm funeral officiated by Pastor Wendell Moore and Pastor Rick Lylles. Burial will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.

Faith was a cornerstone of Johnny's life. He found purpose in serving as a clerk and secretary at the Church of God of Prophecy in Gallatin, where he devoted himself to his community and his faith, demonstrating a life led by compassion and conviction.
