Kenneth S. Harwell, age 74, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on January 20, 2026.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Virginia Harwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years and college sweetheart, Aimee; his step-children Charles, David (Shery), and Rachel (Joel); and his cherished grandchildren, Yael and Eitan, who brought him immense joy.

Ken will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but most especially by Aimee, the love of his life. Though it took them 40 years to finally marry, their bond was unwavering and extraordinary. They first met in college at the University of Tennessee, and four decades later were married in the very dormitory hall where their story began on the exact date they'd met all those years before. The magic of their love story cannot be understated—it was a testament to patience, faith, and true devotion.

Ken was also a beloved member of a lifelong University of Tennessee friend group, sharing more than 40 years of UT football, laughter, and enduring friendship. His sense of humor, deep devotion to God, and passionate love of college football are what he will be most remembered for.

Ken touched countless lives with his warmth, kindness, joy, and steady presence. We are all better for having known him, and forever grateful for the time we shared with him. His legacy of love, faith, and friendship will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Lunch begins at 12:00 PM, with memorial service to follow, at 109 Church of Christ (located: 3320 TN-109 Lebanon, TN 37090). In honor of Ken, we will gather to share his favorite lunch, remember his wonderful sense of humor, strong faith, and the many ways he touched our lives. Your presence will mean so much as we celebrate and remember him together.
