Kerren Lynn Anderson, née Womack, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Born May 13, 1963, in Gallatin, she was the daughter of Mary Hendrix Womack and the late Wayne Tracey Womack. She will be remembered as a genuine and loving woman whose life touched many.
Kerren was a woman of strong Christian faith who was known to minister to others. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a member of Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville. Those who knew her will remember the care she showed to people around her and the steady kindness she shared so freely.
She loved sewing and crocheting, gifts that reflected both her creativity and her caring nature. Above all, Kerren loved being a grandmother, and her family was a central joy in her life. She will be remembered as one of the most joyful and accepting people anyone could meet.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Anderson.
Kerren is survived by her son, Jessie (Megan) Anderson; her daughter, Brittany (Michael) Tinker; her mother, Mary Womack; and her brother, David (Patti) Womack. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Lane Anderson, Dylan (Shannelle) Anderson, Henley Tinker, Emery Tinker, and a great grandchild on the way.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 28, from 4pm til 7pm at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Gallatin. Funeral services conducted by Dr. Brandon James will take place on Saturday, August 29, at 12pm noon at First Baptist Church Hendersonville. The family will welcome friends and visitors one hour prior to the funeral. Entombment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ethan Highers, Jerry Glenn, Kenny McDonald, Sean Thomas, Frank Stasek, Frank Morgan, Robert Messer and Jon Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Lambert, Jonathan Childs, Patrick Stephens, Ed Walker, Matthew Johnson, Jarred Reber, Luke Burris, Clayton Foster, Dave Bowers, Bill Hamilton, Paul Bizler, Kyle Mangum and Justin Graham.
In lieu of flowers, Kerren asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
