Mrs. Irva Byrd

Mrs. Irva Byrd, age 82, passed away on October 11, 2022. She was born in Rich Creek, Virginia to the late Stanley G. and Ollie Ferguson. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Louis “Randy” Byrd.

Irva was a very artistic person. She loved crocheting and making pottery.

Irva is survived by her siblings, Pearl Atkinson, Arnold “Pete” Ferguson (Sherry), and Vanita Mullins (Larry); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A life celebration will be held at 1pm Thursday, October 13th in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center with burial at Gallatin City Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11-1pm prior to the service.
