Pam Espey, age 73, of Gallatin, entered into rest on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
She was born on March 9, 1952, in Angola, Indiana.
Pam was known for her compassion, which was evident in her nursing career. Over the years, she worked in New York, Kentucky, Maryland, Delaware, and Tennessee; specializing in medical surgery, coronary and intensive care, as well as prescribed pediatrics.
Of course, her caring nature also extended to her family; she was always concerned for the well being of others, as well as animals. Pam was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was truly a joy to be around and was delighted to share laughs; especially watching comedies.
Pam had a creative vision. She was the artist of many beautiful watercolor paintings and was a talented knitter. She had spent many hours knitting with friends at the Knitt Shop of Hendersonville.
Pam was also a woman of faith, and a part of an amazing church family at Rehoboth United Methodist Church- Gallatin.
To know her was to love her, and her memory will be cherished. Although Pam will be deeply and sorely missed, her family takes peace that she is no longer suffering on earth, and with her Lord.
Pamela West Espey is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John Espey; sons, Eric Espey (Angie), Evan Espey; grandchildren, Allyson Espey, LillyAnn Espey, Bradley Espey; sisters, Judy Sampsell, Susan Emanuel (Bob); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Norman West, and mother, Jean Winfred (Giltinan) West.
A celebration of life in honor of Pam Espey will take place 11am Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church 2601 Cages Bend Rd, Gallatin, TN 37066. The family will welcome friends and visitors one hour prior to the memorial service.
