Obituary

Patricia Ann Ferrell, 70, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Born December 18, 1955, in Plymouth, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James L. Midgett and Drucy Mae House Midgett.  Patricia’s life was a testament to love, devotion, and creativity, leaving behind a beautiful legacy cherished by her family and many who knew her.

As a devoted mother, Patricia found profound joy in nurturing her children and embracing her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Patricia’s craftiness was a hallmark of her personality; she was especially passionate about cross-stitching and often expressed her affection by creating handmade cards for her grandchildren—each piece a personal treasure crafted with care and thoughtfulness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack T. Bare and granddaughter Charlissa Jenkins.

Patricia’s surviving family includes her children Cris (Heather) Fish,  Nikki Fish, Amy Cline, Teddi Bare, and Josh (Dana) Bare. She is also survived by her sister, Joanne (Joe) Coffey, along with a host of beloved grandchildren: Jalen (Jessi) Fish, Tyler (Kayleigh) Fish, Darin (Grace) Jenkins, Dominic Massiatte, Kali Massiatte, Nick Cline, Raegan Cline, Allison (Joe) Thompson, Aubrey Bare, Jamison Bare, Ayla Bare, Amberlynn Bare, and Tommy Stewart. Patricia’s joyful presence extended into her great-grandchildren, who include Leilianna Jenkins and LeKaidyn Jenkins.

The family invites all who knew and loved Patricia to join them in celebrating her life at a Memorial Gathering. This event will take place on Friday, June 12, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 584 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, Tennessee, 37066.

In remembering Patricia, we honor a woman whose gentle kindness and creative spirit enriched the lives of all around her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, a lasting testament to a life well-lived with love, dedication, and artistry.
