A unique and special soul has left our presence. Paul Kendrick Brown, Jr. of Gallatin, Tennessee, was born August 12th, 1968 and died on April 26th, 2018. Paul had an amazing smile, a loving heart and a big personality. He loved his family dearly and was so very proud of his precious children. He had a passion for history, books, music and all things old. If something had a story, Paul knew it (or made one up). He made us laugh so very often and we will cherish the memories he leaves us.
Paul is survived by his children, Chris "J.C." (Amy) Reichle, Mary Katherine Brown and Paul Kendrick "Trey" Brown, III; his parents Patricia "Trisha" Hutchins Brown and Paul Kendrick "Kenny" Brown; his grandson Jax, his fiancée, Connie Vance Tuttle; his sister, Paige; his brother Phillip (Sharron); many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew; and his good friends. Paul was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth "Peg" Hutchins and Dr. Paul Francis Hutchins of Jacksonville, FL, and his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Collins Brown of Gallatin.
Funeral Service will be Monday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. James C. Johnson, Jr. and Dr. Ted Hill officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 29th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and Monday, April 30th from 12:00 noon until time of service. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family greatly appreciates those who loved and cared about Paul. I am so saddened to just hear this news. I knew Paul before but came to know him well through his visits to job sites where I was the builder/superintendent for local track/custom home builders.and Paul would put together the framing packages as needed. I looked forward to his visits because the conversation would always drift to other areas. We talked about everything. Paul shared great memories, and maybe some tales ,about the neighborhood he grew up in and my family now lives in.
I just wanted to share that It was a pleasure to have known him.
My prayers go out to Paul’s family and friends.
Joseph Draper and family
