Ruby Lee Nolen, age 89 of Gallatin, passed away May 25, 2018. Mrs. Nolen was born April 21, 1929 in Sumner County, TN, daughter of the late Sumner Lee and Clara Lee Hosale. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Woodson Nolen and her son, Robert Nolen. She is survived by sons, Donnie Nolen (Gloria) of Cottontown, Michael Nolen (Darlene) of Lafayette and Terry Nolen (Pam) of Gallatin; daughter, Ann Wright (David) of Hendersonville; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 29th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Charles Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday, May 27th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, May 28th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 29th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. She sure did miss her “walking buddy”. We miss her too! We think about you guys often. The coloring poster that you guys gave Granny has been hung in the activity room at the nursing home with Mrs. Edwards name on it so people will know it was a masterpiece created by a wonderful woman and friend to the Nolen family!
