Sandra C. Walters, a cherished mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee, at the age of 80. Born April 12, 1945, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Paul Kope and Georgia Archer Kope Brewer. Sandra spent her life in the Rouseville and Oil City areas, where she worked various jobs and contributed to her community throughout the years.

Sandra was a person of many interests and a spirit that embraced life fully. She had a passion for crossword puzzles, finding joy and challenge in them. Music brought her happiness, and she often spent her time dancing and immersing herself in the melodies that filled her home. Above all, Sandra cherished the moments spent with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that they will hold dear.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lerone Walters; sisters Shirley Kope Madonia, Mary Jane May, and Peggy Raup; Brothers Ronald Kope and David Kope; grandchildren Cory Walters and infant granddaughter Jenny Dulaney.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, Wade Walters of Rouseville, PA, and Tammy (Bob) Sampsell of Portland, TN; and her stepchildren, LeRon (Stacy) Walters of Rouseville, PA, and Cindy (Gene) Wyant of Seneca, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Paula Kope Willmeth of Oil City, PA; nieces Linda (Jay) Carbaugh of Oil City, PA, Connie (Rusty) Moon of Coopertown, PA, and Melissa (Jeff) Smith of Rouseville, PA. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, including Justin Dulaney, Josh Dulaney, Mitchell Walters, Tyler Moon, Hunter Moon, Corinne Carbaugh, Jared Carbaugh, and Jacob Smith; and several great grandchildren.

In remembering Sandra, her family will always hold close her unwavering love, her laughter, and the warmth she brought into their lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will remain in their hearts forever.
