Scott Greer, age 67, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into rest on Monday, May 27, 2024.

He was born in Hammond, Indiana, to his parents William and Patricia Greer on August 3, 1956. He graduated in the Class of 1974, from Griffith High School, in Griffith, Indiana.   Later he obtained his Associate degree from Purdue University, in the field of civil engineering. He worked as a laboratory manager of commercial construction.  Scott was married to Deb, on June 9, 1984. Shortly after they became members of the Lions Club. Scott had an excellent sense of humor, and he enjoyed bowling and playing golf. More than that, he was a talented musician who played the piano and acoustic guitar. Scott was also a fanatic of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Star Trek. He was a loving husband and father, who will be dearly missed.

William Scott Greer is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Deb Greer; son, Mike Greer; daughter, Marina Greer; sisters, Sherri Todd (David), Deb Mauch (Chris); and sister-in-law, Sue Greer.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Gene Greer; mother, Patricia Ann (Reinert) Greer; and brother, Ted Greer.

A celebration of life in honor of Scott Greer, will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center (located 584 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN, 37066).  

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
