My Wife and I met Shannon through my son Liberty and daughter in law Heather who had purchased the home next door. When introduced to Shannon he had a big ol smile and stretched out hand to shake. Shannon mowed my sons lawn without being asked until my son purchased his. Shannon was always working or tinkering around the house building his garage, outside shed and keeping his property maintained but his last project he worked so hard on for many hours was his outdoor entertainment area where he put a 70" TV to be ready to watch his favorite football team " Tennessee" , but only got to watch one game before he was stricken by covid.. My wife and I only knew Shannon a short time but seeing Shannon working around the house his wife by his side helping or bringing him something to drink it was plane to see their.love for each other. Though I can't understand why the good Lord saw to take Shannon after he fought so hard, is not to our understanding but to GOD's , which will be reunited with his family again in Heaven.
My family Prayers are with Beth, Faith and Chase who's hearts are hurting but believe GOD will be with y'all every step of the way forward..

He will be missed. Shannon was not just a neighbor but a great friend, human, and soul. He would help with anything and boy could he grill! He would always bring me a sample and it was always excellent! Always smiling, laughing and chatting about UT! My family will miss him, but I hope I can live my life with qualities I saw in him. As a Roll Tide family we'll say Go Vols for you Shannon. You put up a hell of a fight against this sickness, but now Rest In Peace and we will see you again in time. .
