Shay Lorri Jones, age 45, of Nashville, TN, passed away April 30,2018. Ms. Jones was born August 15, 1972 in Nashville, TN. She was a high school graduate from Gallatin High School. Following high school she became a graduate from UT Knoxville. Shay enjoyed crafting, music, loved to laugh and had a big heart. She was very funny and giving to all. Most important she was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and niece.
Ms. Jones is preceded in death by her sister, Robin Ann Johnson; grandparents, Lorin D. and Gertie Mae Service, Clio and Charlie Johnson. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Gail and John Drury of Gallatin, TN; her father and step-mother, Wayne and Beth Johnson of Kansas City, KS; son, Wyatt David Jones of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Eleanore "Ellie" Rose Jones of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Cameron (Michelle) Johnson of Hendersonville, TN, Sam Drury of Lebanon, TN; sisters, Lindsey Johnson of Mandeville, LA, Crystal Drury (Patrick) Law of Lebanon, TN; nieces, Molly Harper Johnson, Kaylor Robin Johnson, Cate Drury and Vaden Drury, Paige Underwood; nephews, Bailey Underwood and Donovan Law; aunts, Lorri Service and Sara Datillo, several cousins.
Services for Shay Lorri Jones will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00P.M. at Saundersville United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Hutson officiating in Hendersonville, TN, 710 East Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075.
In lieu of flowers please donate to a local animal shelter.

I will always remember fondly the birthday cake she baked for me last year! I thought so much of her. My thoughts and prayers are with her children and family during this time.

Because she was so loved by friends and family alike I know there many tears being shed and hearts trying to mend. And yes, I am honored to have been the one to “give her to the world”.
