Tina Carnahan, 43, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Nashville. Born April 7, 1982, in Nashville, she was the daughter of Roger Dale Troup and the late Tammy Hullett Troup. She was a beloved mother, daughter, and sister, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.
Tina was known for her spunky personality and was often described as a social butterfly. Her love for life was evident in her warm interactions with family and friends, and she cherished every moment spent visiting with them. Tina had a deep affection for animals and enjoyed spending quiet hours coloring in her favorite coloring books, a hobby that allowed her creativity to shine brightly. There was nothing she enjoyed more than savoring her favorite drinks, Pepsi and Mountain Dew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Hullett Troup; sister Terra Diane Woodard; and husband Neal Carnahan.
Tina is survived by her dear son, Richard Carnahan; her father, Roger Dale Troup; her sister, Tonya Faye Sylvis; and several nieces and nephews. The love and bonds she formed with her family will resonate long after her passing.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Gallatin, Tennessee, located at 584 Nashville Pike. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
