Troy Edward Perry, 57, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Nashville. Born January 23, 1969, in Gallatin, Tennessee, he was the son of Doug Perry and Betty Jean Key Wix.

Troy was a skilled craftsman who was self-employed and spent 35 years constructing sunrooms. He was known as someone who could do just about anything in construction, and his talent with his hands reflected both his dedication to his work and the pride he took in doing things well. His ability to build and repair was matched by a willingness to help, and those who knew him recognized how naturally that generosity came to him.
