Vickie Coward

Mrs. Vickie Coward age 92 of Gallatin, TN passed away August 15, 2022. She was born November 12, 1929, in Hartsville, TN to the late Lem and Betty White.

Along with her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew “AJ” Jr. Coward; sons, Bobby Joe Coward and Charles Ray Coward; daughters, Betty Coward Clark and Frances Ann Wix; grandson, Charles Jacob Coward; brothers, Lem White Jr., Raymond White and George D. White; sister, Emma Lee MacFarland.

Vickie is survived by daughter-in-law, Lelia Wims Coward; son-in-law, Timothy Wix; granddaughters, Anne Chaffin and Karen (Jacoby) Rice; grandsons, Jason (Malory) Coward, Carlos (Caroline) Coward, Cody (Miranda) Wix, Evan Coward and Beau (Jaime) Troutt; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 19th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Kevin officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18th at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center from 2pm-8pm and Friday August 19th from 11am until time of service at Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene.
