Jonathan Monroe Salyer, age 25, of Gallatin, TN passed away in his home on May 1st, 2023. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents; Paul and Opal Salyer, Les Bumbalough Jr., and Flo Abrami. Jonathan is survived by his parents, Rodney Salyer and Cheri (Lee) Kelley, his brothers, Jacob Salyer, Trace Kelley, and Ashton Kelley. His grandparents Rusty and Betty Salyer, John and Connie Bumbalough, Chris and Dianne Kelley, and great grandmother, Joyce Bumbalough. Jonathan is also survived by his aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins.
Jonathan Monroe Salyer was born in Nashville, TN on March 23rd, 1998, to parents, Rodney Salyer and Cheri Kelley. He was a member of the Assembly of God in Gallatin, TN for most of his life. Jonathan was a 2016 graduate of Gallatin High School. He was extremely talented at bowling and received a letter for his time spent on the bowling team. After high school, Jonathan attended TCAT in Hartsville, TN, where he would go on to complete his certification in computer technology in 2021. Although he is gone, he will not be forgotten.
A memorial visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, from 5pm until 7pm. Then on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, from 2pm to 3pm, with our service to start at 3pm with David Jenkins to officiate the service.
