Ms. Dorothy Huddleston

Ms. Dorothy Cook Huddleston age 84, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away April 30, 2021.

Dorothy was born March 15, 1937, in Jackson Tennessee, to the late Francis and Claudia Cook. She was retired from the Box Factory after 36 years of service.

In addition to her parents Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband John Huddleston.  Several brothers and sisters, and 2 grandchildren Shelly and Mandy Rethmeyer.

Surviving are her children; Roger Huddleston (Debora), Claudia Neely (Jeff), and Janice Knox (Scott).  Brothers and Sisters; Georgia LeGalt, Harry Cook (Pat), Jewel Roberts (Donald), Bill Cook, Janie McDole (Tommy).  A special friend George Carpenter. 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday May 8, 2021, at 11 am from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center.  Interment will follow in the Crestview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 pm until 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
